My passions include AI safety, animal welfare, progressive politics, philosophy, reading fiction, writing fiction, bluegrass and Argentine rock music, backpacking, mountain biking, eating (not cooking), the New York Knicks basketball team, and long walks on short beaches.

I’m originally from Kentucky, but I’m currently based in NYC. In past lives, I’ve fought wildfires in the west, farmed in Ecuador, dabbled in legal internships, and been a philosophy student at Columbia University.
